CFEE, The George Washington University, Madison Park and Holland & Knight host Credit Crisis on Main Street: Small Business and Banking Summit.

The GW Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence (CFEE) hosted the community-based emergency summit meeting to bring more immediate focus to the plight of small businesses, specifically their challenges in accessing credit. A representative cross-section of community banks, small business owners, private investors, associations and other related parties participated in the proactive, non-partisan environment to support our nation's economic growth. CFEE, National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), and VISA U.S.A. join forces to launch a National Entrepreneurship Program in 15 states.

CFEE Hosts EntrepreneurshipWeek USA

The George Washington University Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence (CFEE) hosted a number of events for the national EntrepreneurshipWeek USA. The underlying message of EntrepreneurshipWeek USA is one that resonates with people of all ages of all ethnic backgrounds and from all walks of life. It is a celebration and an acknowledgement of what has made America great from the start.

CFEE in conjunction with the GW Housing Programs office held the first TURBO BOOST Entrepreneurship Workshops’ for GW First Year Living & Learning Cohorts students.

CFEE launches the 3E-Learning.org site. 3E site was developed through the guidance of Delta Epsilon Chi (the College Division of DECA) and the financial support of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation The main mission of the site is to establish more and better use of entrepreneurial experiential learning exercises and games used as teaching tools to assist educators in teaching entrepreneurship, small business, and new venture in their classes.
